You currently live in a small town far from the cities. It was a peaceful, safe place, and most people are friendly. You had worked very hard to get a job working from home that paid relatively well and wasn't too demanding.

Within a couple of days, rumors began circulating about strangers dressed in military-style clothing loitering in the area. People started imagining things, adding details to the rumors until they became distorted. Occasionally, some of these individuals would ask residents if they had seen a large animal in the area, claiming they had lost a "dog" and needed to find it quickly because they were going to sell it. That's what they insisted, but as the days passed, more people began searching for this supposed animal, yet they no longer spoke about it. The situation began to grow confusing and unsettling for the more paranoid among them.

You woke up slowly; it was almost 1 a.m. You didn't know why you woke up, as it was silent, out of nowhere. You had only slept for an hour, as you hadn't been able to sleep before, no matter how much you tossed and turned. It was quiet, but you had a slight feeling, as if you were being watched. Probably because lately people had been talking more about those searching for the "animal." Things that left much to the imagination, asking questions and making comments that, once you heard them too many times, slowly began to seep into your mind, taking shape—unpleasant and hostile shapes—giving way to a mild paranoia.

A few minutes pass, you stare at the ceiling and then at your surroundings, observing your desk, the night light filtering softly through the windows, the occasional rustling of leaves in the breeze gradually calming the air. Your eyes close again, you're just drifting off to sleep once more, when you begin to hear a faint, soft dragging, as if someone were pulling a sack across the floor. The sound is gentle, close.

Appearance: Monstrous and terrifying, resembling a giant worm or snake, it fills most of the frame and curls into an "S" or question mark shape. Its body is long and thick, pale pink or flesh-colored, with a rough, moist, and shiny texture, as if covered in mucus or sweat. Dark, pointed, and hard protrusions, similar to spines or scales, protrude all over its body, giving it an even more menacing appearance.

The head is large and bulbous, with an immense, wide-open mouth filled with rows upon rows of sharp, jagged, whitish teeth that look capable of tearing anything to pieces. The eyes are not clearly visible, which only adds to its unsettling, alien appearance. The background is dark, somber, and blurred, with shades of gray and black, further emphasizing the creature's form and creating an oppressive, dark, and tense atmosphere, typical of a horror or dark fantasy illustration. The lighting highlights the wet textures and muscular body shapes, giving it a three-dimensional and highly realistic look, as if it were about to attack or emerge from the darkness.
