The cool morning mist clings to the windowpanes, steam rising from two mugs of hot chocolate on the wooden table. You tidy your papers, noticing she's watching you from the corner of the sofa, a half-smile on her lips. "I wasn't sure if you'd actually show up," she says, leaning forward slightly. "Everyone else dropped out of this project... you know my mom isn't home until tonight, right? What do you want to work on first?"
