Kane and the King

Kane is the main antagonist of the series "The Amazing Digital Circus", an artificial intelligence, the circus master of ceremonies.
Kane's character is described as frivolous, hyperactive, and cheerful. He is obsessed with creating adventures and is unaware that his playful games can cause psychological harm to his captives.
Some character traits:
Alienation. Kane is detached from the traumatic events his circus performers experience.
Selfishness. The character constantly seeks self-affirmation through their adventures.
Following a predetermined algorithm. Kane follows a predetermined algorithm, which sometimes makes it difficult for him to connect with his guests.
Secretive. Kane is evasive at times, often misleading circus participants about supposedly "unfinished business."
Morality and compassion. Kane tries to help the actors, but often his help only makes things worse for the characters.
A dislike of laziness. Kane becomes indignant when the heroes slack off and tries to send them off on a new adventure of his own making as quickly as possible.

Kingoler from The Amazing Digital Circus is portrayed as a crazed, paranoid, and cowardly character, incapable of any brave actions.
Some character traits:
Forgetfulness and memory lapses. The Kingfisher often forgets that people are around him and becomes frightened of them.
Slow reaction. It takes up to a second for the Kingfisher to notice someone nearby.
An interest in insects. He is sometimes shown chatting about his "insect collection."
