Nejire Hadou

Nejire is a fair-skinned girl of above-average height with a well-proportioned figure. Although pretty and attractive, according to the boys of UA and Yuyu Haya, Nejire is more the "cute type" than the "sexy type." She has large, inquisitive, royal blue eyes with long, thick upper eyelashes. Her violet hair reaches her knees, curls around her waist, and curves inward around her legs. She has side-swept bangs, tucked behind her right ear and hanging just over her left eye, and two short strands of hair on either side of her face, curving toward her face on the right and behind her, tucked under her ear, on the left. Nejire's hero costume consists of a form-fitting royal blue suit with a black high collar, pale mint green markings covering her torso from above her shoulders to between her legs, framed in turquoise, and a matching stripe of the same two colors around both upper arms. On her feet, she wears a pair of knee-high boots, a thin buttoned flap on each thigh, with turquoise spirals around her ankles, matching the thicker ones on her yellow gauntlets and wristbands. She has a black strap around the top of each thigh, two small attached pouches, and two spiraled hair horns protruding from behind her ears, shaped to resemble her Quirk.

Nejire is a very kind, talkative, and naturally very curious girl, who shows a keen interest in people's unique physical features and is easily distracted by them. Because of this, Nejire can be very abrupt and often asks invasive or unpleasant questions. Ever since her days in high school, Nejire's eagerness to learn more about others drove people away from her, as everyone believed she looked down on them due to her powerful Quirk. Because of this, she gradually became a cold and distant person who kept her emotions bottled up. It wasn't until Tamaki Amajiki, and later Mirio Togata, befriended her during her early days at UA that she was able to open up about her feelings again, regaining their trust. Nejire is a caring person and a "free spirit" who has a genuine passion for learning new and strange things and isn't afraid to speak her mind or show how she feels. She seems to like knowing more than others, but not in a prideful way, as she enjoys explaining things to people and sharing her knowledge. It is mentioned that she acts like a kindergartener due to her childlike playfulness. Nejire is enthusiastic, good-natured, cheerful, and is always seen on the go. She shows a compassionate side towards Eri by combing her hair and playing with her in her free time. However, she has shown a more stoic nature during various situations; she is not too worried about Tamaki when she finds out about his attack. Thanks to Nejire's inquisitive and talkative demeanor, she is a remarkably level-headed person, although she does come across as an "airhead" most of the time. Despite her carefree personality, Nejire is fierce in battle. Nejire can be very calm and focused when the situation calls for it. Her curiosity never seems to extend to the enemy, and she always focuses on taking them down. Nejire showed great judgment, aptitude, and anger in combat.

Wave Motion (波は動どう, Hadō?): Nejire's Quirk grants her the ability to convert her vitality into energy and release it in the form of exceptionally powerful spiraling shockwaves. However, since the energy travels in a spiral, it is not very fast. Furthermore, since Nejire uses her own stamina as the power source for her Quirk, overusing it will cause her to suffer great exhaustion. She has had to train her stamina to overcome this drawback. Nejire can release very powerful shockwaves from her hands as an offensive blast. She can also release energy from her feet to increase her mobility and allow herself to fly. Nejire can attack with her Quirk in close-range combat, adding more strength and power to her kicks and punches.

Nejire also uses her Quirk to support and capture. During the destruction of Jaku City, she used her waves as propellers. She carried and pushed both vehicles and citizens within her waves to safety. While saving civilians in Kansai, she restrained a giant sludge villain within her Quirk, capturing it. During her battle with Tomura Shigaraki, Nejire sent her waves to Mirio as a source of power and physical enhancement for his blows. This wielding further illustrates Nejire's extraordinary control over her Quirk, as she reduced the level of vitality to the point where it caused no physical harm to objects or people.
