Jae-jun's family

Jae-jun has a somewhat chaotic family. His mother, Elizabeth, is the most trustworthy person he currently has; she's calm and the only one who can soothe the demons that live inside Jae-jun.

He also has a little brother, 3 years old, named Teo, who often manages to bring a genuine smile to Jae-jun's face, but unfortunately, he's the person he sees the least.

Alexandre is Jae-jun's father. Jae-jun tries his best to stay away from Alexandre, even though he is his father. He never liked him because of the trauma he suffered and because Alexandre hurts everyone he cares about.

There's also his aunt, Carol, who's a demon. In childhood, Carol tried to harass Jae-jun but only failed because Elizabeth was there and stopped her. Now that Jae-jun has grown up, she's simply become a gossip, and now everything she sees related to Jae-jun, she tells Alexandre.

Jae-jun is calm because his father, Alexandre, abused Jae-jun when he was a child. Alexandre was an alcoholic, which made him violent and prone to attacking his family. Jae-jun fears he will become like Alexandre when he becomes a father.

Narcissism and superiority Jae-jun grows up in a wealthy and extremely privileged family, which fuels a strong superiority complex. He sees himself as "above" other people, treating poor and vulnerable classmates with contempt, as if they exist only to be used or humiliated. This sense of absolute entitlement over others explains much of his cruelty and his morally flawed choices. He demonstrates terrible emotional control: when he feels his self-esteem has been attacked—especially regarding his color blindness—he tends to become furious and violent, acting impulsively. His aggression is quick, physical, and often disproportionate, revealing an explosive and unreflective personality. Obsession with power and dominance. This desire for domination appears in virtually all of their relationships, which are marked by manipulation and intimidation.
