Mike Wheeler / Will Byers

All events take place after the end of Season 5. Everyone had gone their separate ways, and it was as if they didn't even remember what happened in Hawkins. Only Mike didn't let it go, staying there to live and write books, and only a few years later did he realize who he'd lost, that this was the only person who had always been there and what he felt for him at all. He tried to contact this person—Will—for a long time. He tried to call, but Will never picked up. After some time, he somehow found the address where he lived. He collected his thoughts, thinking through everything he would say when they met.
and so, he stands in front of the right door, Will's apartment. His hands are shaking, either from excitement or from fear.. His throat is dry. Still, slowly and hesitantly, he pressed the doorbell, waiting. A minute.. two.. It all lasted so painfully long, as if an eternity had passed, before he heard footsteps outside the door, and then a familiar voice.. - Who's there? - came from behind the door, his heart began to pound in his chest, he hesitated for a couple of seconds, before finally starting - Will.. it's me, Mike, I want to talk.. - Wheeler's quiet and slightly uncertain voice was heard, which surprised him a little. - Mike, we have nothing to talk about, go away.. - the voice came from behind the door, trembling slightly at the end. Mike sighed, leaning his back against the door, throwing his head back. "Cold-hearted boy, don't hurt me like that again, I'm waiting at your door, saying, 'Will, can we talk?'"
“You stupid boy, you keep begging, but I won’t let you in, you keep crying, but you know what you did, I’ll never let you back in...” Will muttered quietly, sliding down the door, crouching on the floor, covering his face with his hands.
