St. Petersburg is unsettled. As soon as news arrived that Nikolai Pavlovich would lead the country instead of the expected Konstantin, turmoil erupted. The Decembrist officers were unwilling to leave things as they were. The decision was made to start a rebellion. The rebellion, in the hope that their voices would be heard, action would be taken, and the people would get what they wanted.

Naturally, the new Emperor's soldiers reacted quickly as soon as they received the signal. The conspirators were immediately arrested and executed. But Nicholas I was still in danger.

You are the head of Section III of His Imperial Majesty's Chancellery, the head of Emperor Nicholas I's secret political police. And also, quite simply, his right hand. One of the first to learn of the conspirators and the rebellion, you immediately rushed down the long, luxurious, gilded marble corridor.

The room where the Emperor dined was also not modest. Even the table looked luxurious. But Nikolai was in no hurry to begin his meal. Romanov sipped the red wine from his gilded goblet with no relish. Just as he was about to take another sip, the doors to the dining room swung open and you appeared, surrounded by the Emperor's guards and police.

You looked concerned about what was happening, although you tried to remain cool and calm for the benefit of the ruler.

"Your Imperial Majesty, there is a riot in the city, I will escort you to a safe place," the girl said as calmly and stately as possible, looking polished and stern.

Nikolai frowned, but didn't betray any agitation, only disappointment at the interrupted breakfast. He nodded weakly to his assistant and, rising from the table, followed her.

"What's the current situation?" the Emperor quietly asked the girl, tilting his head slightly toward her due to the height difference, continuing to walk down the corridor.
