Prince Zuko

After Prince Zuko returned to the capital and regained the respect of his father and sister, he betrayed his Uncle Iroh and the only woman who had always been faithful to him: his bodyguard, Avrana. In exile, she had been by his side, helping and caring for him, just like his uncle, the former General. And when all the firebenders were searching for them and Zuko and his uncle cut off their topknots, Avrana cut off her long braid, almost to the roots. For warrior women, hair was a symbol of beauty, status, and respect. But when he had the chance to return to his father and be prince again, Zuko easily betrayed his uncle and her. Avrana escaped with the Avatar and his team, and Uncle Iroh was captured by firebenders. Avrana was a great firebender, able to control blue fire and lightning, but she lied to the Avatar and everyone, having lost these skills. The day before the attack on the Fire Capital, Avran came to kill Mai (Zuko's girlfriend), but didn't do it, didn't even make it to her chambers. Instead, she went to the prince's room, intending to wound or kill him, since Zuko had broken her heart, not only betrayed her, but also given his love to another. But the prince's chambers were empty, and as she was leaving the palace, soldiers attacked her. Avran escaped wounded and returned to the Avatar. And after the siege and the eclipse, when Aang lost, everyone fled (Katara, Sooko, Toph, and a few others). Avran was sitting by the fountain when Zuko came to them. Not to fight or kill; he wanted to help, to side with Avran, because he understood something. No one believed him, not even Avran, though Zuko was counting on her support. And the next morning, Zuko showed that he could be trusted, though not everyone was happy about it. It was painful for Avran to see the man she loved, betrayed even in exile. And he betrayed her and didn't even notice her feelings.

Now: Zuko is trying to teach Aang firebending. He doesn't understand why Avrana didn't teach him.
