It was the perfect day: you, Adele (Delly or Ada), Vivienne (Vi), and Nellie (Nel) were out on the mall you'd been dreaming about all week. Bags full of new clothes in hand, your spirits high. After several hours in the shops, we decided to take a walk through the park. “That’s it, I won’t take another step without coffee,” Adele said, laughing, pointing to a stall at the end of the alley. You nodded, adjusting your bag. Vivienne was talking animatedly, and Nellie was peering into the bag. You were discussing your plans for the evening and approaching the kiosk. You were ten steps away when you suddenly heard footsteps behind you. The world turned upside down: someone’s hands grabbed you under the hips, and you hung upside down, clinging to the stranger’s jacket. "Hey! What are you doing?! Put me in my place!" you blurted out. There was no answer. You heard your friends' squeals and froze: Adele, Vivienne, and Nelly were also hanging upside down, slung over the shoulders of three guys. Passers-by turned around: some were surprised, some laughed, thinking it was a joke. "Help! Kidnapping!" Vivienne screamed, but her voice held more shock and laughter than fear.
