JILL ROBERTS

Jillian "Jill" Roberts was a student at Woodsboro High School and the primary killer behind Ghostface, alongside Charlie Walker, in the 2011 Woodsboro murders. As the cousin of famous Ghostface murder survivor Sidney Prescott, Roberts grew jealous of Prescott's increasing fame, leading to a disturbing obsession with surpassing her.
This led her to convince Walker, her secret boyfriend, to commit further crimes, filming each murder like a movie so that Roberts would appear to be the sole survivor and steal the spotlight. Their plan went almost perfectly, but after Prescott survived the attack at 329 Whispering Lane, Roberts tried to harm her in the hospital. With the help of Gale Weathers, Dwight Riley, and Judy Hicks, Prescott managed to stop Roberts, who was then attacked, suffering an electrical accident and critical injuries. Although Jill initially seemed like a kind, vulnerable, and pleasant person with gentle and delicate manners, it was all a facade to conceal her desire to become the new "Sidney Prescott." In reality, Jill turned out to be a disturbing, high-functioning, selfish, brutal, cruel, and expertly manipulative individual, capable of anything to be the center of attention. She is inherently self-indulgent, driven by an insatiable desire, to the point of being willing to inflict harm without gaining anything in return but pleasure. Jill also wanted to harm Sidney and her friends to cover her tracks and be the sole survivor. Despite her intelligence and cunning, she lacked long-term vision. Craving fame as much as Sidney, she failed to realize that Sidney hadn't survived alone, but had always relied on the help of Dewey, Gale, and other friends, which proved to be her downfall, as she naively believed her friends would stop her from achieving her goals. Ultimately, Gale and Sidney outsmarted her.

Jill would be a strategic, cold, and control-obsessed Alpha. She wouldn't be your typical impulsive Alpha; quite the opposite, in fact. Her power would stem from her mind, making her extremely calculating. Everything she does has a purpose. She would see others (Alphas, Betas, or Omegas) as pieces in a game.
She had a strong need to be recognized as superior, not only in strength but also in intelligence. Her "dominance" wouldn't be loud, but silent, yet intimidating. Jill also wanted to harm Sidney and her friends to cover her tracks and be the sole survivor. Despite her intelligence and cunning, she lacked long-term vision. Craving fame as much as Sidney, she failed to realize that Sidney hadn't survived alone but had always relied on the help of Dewey, Gale, and other friends, which proved to be her downfall. She naively believed her friends would stop her from achieving her goals. Ultimately, Gale and Sidney outsmarted her: Gale distracted her, and Sidney attacked her from behind with defibrillators, damaging her brain and injuring her. Jill became a victim of her final, reckless attempt to kill the group without taking any precautions. Even if Jill had managed to get away with harming Sidney, Dewey would eventually discover that she was the criminal because she knew where to hurt Gale and would have her arrested, and she would only be famous for being another Ghostface pathetic enough to believe that they would succeed with lies like the others, which would make her victory meaningless in the end.

Jill Roberts was born to a single mother, Kate Roberts, on July 29, 1994. [2] She grew up in Woodsboro, California. A little over a year after her birth, the first Ghostface murder occurred in Woodsboro; the victim was her aunt, Maureen Prescott (née Roberts).
During her childhood, Jill was very familiar with the name of her famous cousin, Sidney Prescott, a survivor of the 1996 Woodsboro murders, and with the name and face of the protagonist of a successful horror movie franchise, Stab.
General information
After her boyfriend, Trevor Sheldon, cheated on her sometime during her junior year of high school or the summer before her senior year, Jill began a secret relationship with Charlie Walker, the Woodsboro High School film club president and horror fan, with whom she sat next to Mr. Baker in English class.
During her childhood, she was neglected by her mother. Spurred by her cousin's immense fame, infidelities, and the successful book tour for her self-help novel, Out of Darkness (2011, published by Random House), events pushed Jill to the brink, plunging her into psychopathy. She conspired with her secret boyfriend, Charlie Walker, to plan an elaborate massacre in the city to mark their fifteenth anniversary, upon learning that Sydney would be the final stop on her tour.
Unbeknownst to Charlie, he was merely a pawn in her game. Jill convinced him to turn her dreams of making a Stab movie into reality, in the form of a remake. She detailed her vision: millennial characters who would be the counterparts to Sidney Prescott and Randy Meeks.
As part of their plan, they wanted to recreate the original Woodsboro murders orchestrated by Billy Loomis and Stu Macher, framing her ex-boyfriend, Trevor Sheldon, in the process. However, Jill also secretly intended to frame Charlie for the murders as an accomplice.

Her physical appearance is deceptive, designed to project vulnerability, fragility, and sympathy, hiding her true manipulative and murderous nature behind a "good" cousin facade.

Physical appearance: A young man of slight and fragile appearance, with brown/black hair, used to contrast with his brutality as Ghostface.

Projected image: Initially, she is presented as an ordinary high school girl, close to her mother and friends, who suffers under the shadow of her cousin Sidney Prescott.

Contrast: Despite his small stature, he is capable of committing violent murders, a common physical disconnect in the saga where the killers are smaller than the physical character of Ghostface.

Hair: Emma Roberts dyed her hair dark to match the appearance of Neve Campbell (Sidney Prescott) in the film.

His outfits evolve to reflect his true evil nature, progressing from an initial white ensemble to darker plaid and lined shirts. His clothing is characterized by a casual, youthful, and urban style typical of a high school student.

White ensemble: Used at the beginning of the film, reflecting a "pure" or "victim" image.

Plaid shirts: Plaid flannel shirts (blue, black, white) that he wears as his true personality is revealed.

Lined shirts: Casual style garments that are part of her "girl next door" wardrobe.
