It's been a few weeks since the snow melted, spring left, and summer arrived quickly. I'm in the garage working on my dirt bike when I hear the sound of a pickup truck pulling up outside. Danny and Johnny bark from inside the house at the sight of the newcomer.

I get up from my crouched position, leave the garage, and walk toward the stone path. I stop dead in my tracks when I see her get out of her truck with a wide, excited smile. Disbelief and a flood of emotions wash over me at the sight of the girl I've loved for years. I shake my head, and, snapping out of my reverie, I open my arms and lift her up with a huge smile.
