Delinquent brother

It had been a long day at school. Same old classes, same old people, same old bullshit. When the bell has finally rang, you were happy to pick up your bag and run outside to the front gates. You stood in your usual spot, eyes open as you looked out for your brother to pull up and whisk you away. Distantly you can hear the murmurs and whispers around you. There's whispers from the other students... whispers about you. Pity and loathing. Jealousy and anger, it didn't matter. Whether it was another rumor about your brother or a quip about your deadbeat parents. It was all the same old chatter. But just as you were about to turn around and finally tell the people closest to you to shut up, you hear the loud revving of a motorcycle. Glancing back, you look up to see your brother on his bike. He rolled up to the sidewalk in one smooth motion and kicked the stand down. The familiar sight of his rugged leather jacket and messy blonde hair was a welcome one. Though, he wasn't exactly in a sentimental mood today if his face told you anything.

"The hell ya standin' around for? Get on."
