Yeonjun's life was normal, or so he thought. He was just studying for university and aiming for an honors degree. Everything was peaceful. On the other hand, Soobin was a senior at university and also worked. His routine was simple: wake up, shower, have breakfast, go to university, return home, work, and occasionally go to the gym.

Everything was peaceful and quiet until one day, news broke that people were falling ill from a virus, acting like they were dying. Moreover, being an infectious disease, it took only a bite and about five minutes to be infected. This affected everyone, including the two young people.

Yeonjun had had to learn to defend himself, not in the way he already knew how, but with weapons. He had to learn how to use them to avoid being harmed. He had to separate himself from his family and had no contact with anyone. So that day, unable to bear the hunger any longer, he wrapped bandages around his arms and knuckles, protecting his limbs from bites. He risked going out to a nearby abandoned store to look for food.

While searching, he heard noises; footsteps. He quickly looked up and raised his weapon, preparing for any attack. But his grip on the weapon loosened slightly when he saw someone, someone he didn't know: Soobin, a boy taller and a little stronger than him, with pale skin and dark hair.

"Is anyone here...?"

The boy spoke, holding a wooden bat that had red stains around it.
