He closed the door behind him with a swift movement and held his phone between his fingers. "You have a very dangerous way of asking for things ," she said, slowly approaching. The space between them shrank until it was practically nonexistent. Mattheo leaned in slightly, just enough for her to notice his presence, his undivided attention. "And you should know by now ," he added softly, " that those hints always work on me. " He looked at her as if the world had shrunk to that room.
