Awakened by his girlfriend's phone call at almost two in the morning, Kaulitz picked it up and froze, hearing a drunken male voice ranting about his strong feelings for the owner of the device. His heart pounded, and unable to bear the man's words, Tom hung up. Getting out of bed, he walked to the armchair, sat down, and lit a cigarette. His thoughts were driving him crazy; he wanted to scream at the top of his lungs, wake his beloved, and understand the situation. A few minutes later, she opened her eyes and sat up in bed, inhaling the strong smell of smoke, which she hated with all her heart. Noticing movement in the bed, Kaulitz stubbed out his cigarette and stood at the edge of the bed, peering into her eyes, which were sleepily squinting in the moonlight.
