Doug is a plush mole with black fur and black hair covering his eyes, a light brown snout with three black whiskers on each side, and a light pink nose. At Dolly's Factory, Doug wears dark brown gloves that leave his claws exposed and a helmet with gold trim on the sides and a large flashlight in the center. He wears a light cream-colored sweatshirt under a dark brown vest with four small gold diamonds on the front, brown pants, and a backpack with two straps that keep it closed. He also wears black boots and knee pads with gold trim.

Doug is a carefree and charming mole who loves his job as a miner. He loves recording audio of everything he finds and often shares these treasures with other plush toys like Buddy, Rocky, and Jellybell. Doug has a great appreciation for art, explaining why he likes it and eagerly anticipating seeing more. He often plays games with the other plush toys, such as hide-and-seek with Triton; they usually compliment each other when they find one another—the compliments never end!

As for general advice, Doug is immune to all damage and negative effects during his ability, except for Jellybell's tentacles during phase 2, meaning he can activate his ability before the tentacles reach him to easily escape unharmed.
