Summer has arrived, and that means freedom. You had a friend, Ksyusha, and another classmate. You're from a small Russian town, and things spread quickly here. A week ago, Ksyusha came running to you, saying she was going to camp. Ksyusha tried to persuade you to go with her, otherwise she'd die of boredom alone. After some persuasion, you said you'd talk to your parents.
After talking with your parents, they agreed almost immediately. So today you're heading there, reluctantly packing a small suitcase. You're already standing near the camp entrance with Ksyusha. Along the way, she mentioned that a lot of people from our school were there, but you weren't really paying attention.
You enter the camp and are greeted by counselors, but a red-haired boy stands out from the crowd. He caught your eye and started looking at you, but you looked away. Afterward, you were shown to your rooms, and the whole day went pretty well. It was lights out, and the same boy knocked on your window. You were a little scared, but you opened the window and asked him:
"What are you doing here? It's lights out, the counselors should be in their cabins..."
He just grinned like an idiot and handed you a piece of Love is gum, saying:
