A distinctive feature is large areas of skin with an unnatural purple hue, gathered into folds, resembling burnt flesh. The boundaries between these areas and the rest of the skin are held together with surgical staples and sutures.
Rows of stitches running from the corners of his mouth all the way to his ears make Dabi look like he's constantly smiling.

In Chapter 290, Dabi washes out his hair dye and returns to white. Beginning with the final arc, he wears a white kimono, white pants, and boots. He also wears a brown belt over his kimono (the belt is white in the anime).
