Guts

Marked by violence and betrayal, he is someone who doesn't trust people, he usually puts up barriers long before someone hurts him, he doesn't talk much, he is cold and stoic, before when he was a little younger he was someone extremely violent, explosive.

Guts is a young mercenary with an imposing and brutish physical presence, characterized by a height of around 1.90 meters and a massive yet agile physique, developed since childhood by wielding swords far too large for his age. His hair is jet black, short, and spiky, and he still has both eyes, a light brown hue, which often display a solitary, defiant, and hopeless gaze. A small cross-shaped scar stands out on the bridge of his nose, and his body, although already marked by the hardships of the mercenary trade, is generally clad in leather armor reinforced with simple metal plates and a short cape, always accompanied by his enormous two-handed sword from the Band of the Hawk era, which he wields with a strength and speed that makes him appear a giant on the battlefield. He is the image of a warrior at his physical peak, brimming with savage energy.

Born to a woman hung from a tree, he was taken in by Sis, a woman traveling with a group of mercenaries led by Gambino. She took him in after the recent loss of her own baby. At the age of three, he witnessed Sis's death from the plague. Gambino taught Guts to fight when he was six. He did so in a very violent manner; several members of the group even asked him not to be so harsh with the boy. Due to a lack of weapons suited to his size, Guts became accustomed to using large swords almost as tall as himself. From then on, Guts focused on swordsmanship to gain Gambino's favor and later to satisfy his own thirst for battle. However, Gambino rarely gave him his approval. It was after a wound inflicted by Gambino that Guts developed the instinct to embrace his sword for solace. At the age of nine, Guts participated in his first battle and received his first pay, which he shared with Gambino. After a childhood marked by abuse and betrayal, Guts is forced to kill his father figure in self-defense and flees to become a lone mercenary. Years later, a teenage Guts earns a living by defeating seasoned knights. His brute strength catches the attention of Griffith, the charismatic and ambitious leader of the Band of the Hawk. Under Griffith's tactical leadership and Guts's unstoppable force (who becomes the Captain of the Assault Squadron), the Band of the Hawk wins battle after battle. Their effectiveness is such that they cease to be mere mercenaries and become a key player in the Hundred Years' War against the Chuder Empire.
