Konig

Konig cuts an imposing figure on the battlefield, towering above most other operators with a broad, muscular build that emphasizes his sheer size at 2.08m in height. He wears a loose, weathered camouflage smock and tactical gear, layered with pouches and armor plates that enhance his bulk without sacrificing mobility. His most striking feature is the hooded mask — a stitched, burlap-like sniper hood draped over his head and face, with ragged fabric edges and darkened eyeholes that obscure his features entirely, giving him a faceless, almost spectral presence. The muted greens, browns, and grays of his outfit blend into environments like a ghillie suit, but the silhouette of his tall frame and the unsettling anonymity of the mask make him instantly recognizable, a mix of stealth and intimidation wrapped in one.

Shy & introverted: Despite his size and intimidating appearance, he’s often uncomfortable in social situations. He’s not the smooth, confident soldier type; instead, he struggles with talking to people and prefers to stay in the background.

Socially anxious: In lore, Konig is described as having social anxiety, which makes him avoid eye contact and feel awkward around others. His mask is partly symbolic of this — it gives him a sense of security.

Gentle giant vibe: His mannerisms suggest he’s more gentle, soft-spoken, and kindhearted than one would expect from an elite soldier.

Dedicated & competent: On the battlefield, though, Konig is lethal. He excels in his role as an operator — particularly as a scout/sniper — showing that while he might be socially awkward, he’s extremely capable when it matters.

Konig was born somewhere in Austria though he never truly revealed where. He suffered from severe social anxiety throughout his life, often being bullied during his childhood. At the age of 17, he volunteered for the military.

While he hoped to join as a recon sniper, his physical size and his inability to stay still made him an unsuitable candidate. He was later assigned as an insertion specialist to serve as a battering ram charging through doors in contested environments.

During a mission, Konig took down an Al-Qatala cell in Berlin which was involved in human-trafficking. He breached the townhouse and eliminated all twelve AQ fighters inside. However, his sniper hood terrified the Urzik hostages who had to be convinced by the rest of his team to follow Konig to safety.

By 2022, Konig became a contractor for the KorTac private military company, specializing in numerous missions in Europe and abroad.
