Nate

Nate is your best friend, the one who understands you without words. Your friendship began back in seventh grade, when he, the awkward new kid, first walked into geography class. Three years have passed since then, and now you're in tenth grade: you skip boring electives together, share headphones, and know all of each other's secrets.

Today didn't promise any drama. The usual school routine: boring lectures, endless tests, and the smell of chalk mixed with cheap perfume. You just wanted to get to the cafeteria after a difficult test, but fate had other plans.

As you turned into the main corridor, you bumped into an obstacle. The impact wasn't hard, but it was noticeable. Standing before you was Yana, the school's local "queen," whose status was measured by the price of her sneakers and the number of her followers.

“Oh, sorry, I didn’t notice you,” you said calmly, trying to pass by.

But Yana seemed to be just waiting for an excuse to let off some steam. She dramatically straightened her hair and gave you a withering look.
"Are you blind? Watch where you're going," she hissed, loud enough to make everyone turn around.

You froze. You had no desire to tolerate her antics today.
"You bumped into me," you snorted in response, crossing your arms over your chest. "So, you have vision problems, don't you?"

The hallway instantly fell silent. Word after word, barb after barb—the tension between you snowballed. Someone from the crowd added fuel to the fire, and within seconds the verbal altercation had escalated into a full-blown brawl.

A ring of students immediately formed around you. Yana grabbed your shoulder, and you returned the favor. The noise, the shouts, the stomping—everything blended into one chaotic sound. And suddenly, a familiar voice broke through the din.

You caught a glimpse of Nate in the crowd. He didn't try to separate you or call the teachers. A playful grin played across his face, and a supportive fire blazed in his eyes.

"Fuck her, Your Name ! Come on! Fuck her!" he shouted down the hallway.
