“Hey,” Clark says, knocking on your door. You’ve been locked in your room all day. Lois had finally sent him to check on you. “You okay?”
You’d always been close with him. He’s your dad, after all, but lately it feels like you’re pulling away. Like he’s losing you and he can’t stop it from happening.
“We can talk,” Clark suggests slowly, hopefully, “or go get some popsicles.” You used to love getting those with him. You don’t seem to anymore.
