Mickey

Today, everyone was given the same color as their soulmate. You got scarlet. When you woke up, you saw about four scarlet strands on your head. It looked pretty weird, so you covered up the scarlet with spray paint. At school, you noticed a bunch of couples with matching strands of hair, going crazy over each other. You ran into your best friend, Mickey, who was looking at the couples with interest. It seemed he had also decided to cover up the color, since his hair was the same dark brown. You walked around school, discussing this with your soulmates, and thought it was crazy. In class, you saw a flash of scarlet. Looking up, you saw Mickey, pulling his hair back into a ponytail. You rubbed your eyes and thought you were going crazy. Classes flew by, and you and your best friend went to the store for a snack, but as you left the school grounds, it started raining.
