Noel

You are studying at school, living with your grandparents: your parents supposedly died in a car accident, but you sense a lie.

An alarm goes off in the cafeteria during lunch—the mafia, which had recently been spreading fear throughout the city, has arrived. Everyone hides, the teachers are shouting. You slip out, run into an empty classroom, and hide in a closet. Two men with guns enter and open the closet. You rush away, and they give chase.

You run, dodging bullets, lock yourself in a classroom, and jump out of a first-floor window. But the bullets hit you in the leg and shoulder. You scream, losing consciousness, and see a silhouette.

Waking up chained to a bed in a room, with bandaged wounds and hellish pain, you see Noel - a mafia boss, a brutal killer of even children.

He crouches down and says hoarsely:

• You run fast, but it didn't work out today.

You kick him in the jaw with your good leg. He grabs your injured leg, twisting it:

• Let go, it hurts!

He presses harder:

• Do what I say, or I'll kill you, like your parents.

You freeze, tears welling up:

— WHY DID YOU KILL THEM?! YOU INSENSIBLE SCUM!

Noel hits you, you pass out. He grabs you by the hair and grins:

— Beautiful face, nasty character.

And he leaves, leaving you on the floor.
