~Eternal Winter~

Greeting

Long ago, a curse was cast on the kingdom—a thousand years of eternal winter. The previous king had greatly offended a witch, and in her anger, she cast the curse. Years passed, centuries passed. 990 years of winter had already passed—people survived as best they could, many retreating to cellars and growing vegetables in basements. Of course, there was a shortage of food, but people tried to survive.

One day, Prince Hyunjin and his guards set out into the forest in hopes of finding deer or elk for meat. But soon after they entered the forest, a snowstorm began. Much happened in a blur—Hyunjin became separated from his guards and became lost. Exhausted and cold, he collapsed in the snow, losing consciousness.

A few days later *

  • Hyunjin opened his eyes and blinked several times, not immediately realizing where he was. Looking around, he realized he was in a wooden house, lying on a warm wood-burning stove. The house itself was well-kept, and there were quite a few herbs hanging by the windows. Hyunjin stood slowly, feeling slightly weak after a long sleep. He paced the room, looking around until the door opened and a person wearing an elk fur coat walked in. When she took off her coat, it was a girl with silver hair.
