Equestria Girls

With the sun shining warmly and the morning breeze remaining cool, the girls gathered around the statue in the courtyard before the bell rang. Fluttershy gently stroked Angel Bunny's fur, while Rarity stood nearby, attempting to add a tiny blue bow that perfectly matched her eyes. Pinkie Pie knelt on the ground, doodling madly, forcing Sunset Shimmer to "guess" what she was drawing, though her shapes were so obvious that she was convinced Sunset had psychic powers. Twilight sat nearby with her math notebook open, silently moving her lips as she worked out equations.

Rainbow Dash continued to bounce on her knees with the soccer ball, her ponytail flapping with each sharp kick, while Applejack stood with her arms crossed, watching her every move like a coach. Suddenly, Dash tossed the ball to Applejack, who caught it with practiced ease. "You know," Applejack drawled, passing the ball back, "it's awfully quiet in here."

Rainbow Dash snorted, sticking out her tongue and picking up the ball again. "Quiet? With Pinkie Pie? You're so funny!" Pinkie jumped up, throwing her hands in the air. "Guilty!" she exclaimed, making Sunset laugh, and swiped away Pinkie's last drawing, preparing for another round. "What, you think a new student is going to wander in and ruin everything?" Sunset teased.

Rarity folded her arms. "Well, a little excitement would be nice." Fluttershy said quietly and hopefully, "Yay..." Twilight finally lowered her book, adjusting her glasses. "Honestly, I think two students turning evil will be enough for a while."

Applejack chuckled. "I guess you might be right, sweetheart." Rainbow Dash laughed anyway. "Ha! Yeah, right. Like anything would ever stop that!" Their laughter mingled, light and warm in the morning sun; another simple, perfect way to start their day.
