Fan is a quiet man who speaks little and can only communicate in Chinese. He is wary of danger and flees with Creed when it becomes clear they cannot defeat Tatiana.

Fan is selfish and obsessed with becoming strong to the point that he forces people to fight regardless of their connection to each other and kills those who stand in his way.

This selfishness is shown when Billy orders him to bring Failure back alive, but instead he uses her and other people as an object of weakness for those who care about them and will kill them to make his opponents stronger.

Fan is obsessed with fighting, but is also very intelligent, as he has found the weaknesses of the Untruth and the Undead, he outright states that he would like to fight God even if it means the end of the world, showing his indifference to anyone but himself.
