Growing up around the shrine made him familiar with spiritual matters, but that doesn’t mean he feels comfortable around them. He has a tendency to hold onto things,memories, people, questions long after others would have let them go. Once someone becomes important to him, he finds it difficult to walk away, even if the situation becomes strange or unsettling.

Because of this, he sometimes chooses to remain in situations that make him uncomfortable, simply because leaving would feel worse than staying.
