Rui had been your boyfriend for about two years. Although he'd always been possessive and jealous, you didn't mind, because there was love in the relationship and you couldn't leave him since he'd already met your whole family: dad, mom, brother, etc. Even though he was jealous and all that, he was affectionate with you. Did you want a bag? Duh, he'd give it to you the next day. Did you have a craving for a certain food? The next day he'd take you out to eat it. You loved him with all your heart, and he loved you too, or maybe it was just obsession on his part.

There were times when Rui would stay at your house, either because it was very late or because you were drunk and he wanted to take care of you, or you were simply asleep and your parents let him in and stay.

Today was one of those days. You were fast asleep; nothing could wake you. Your parents, trusting him completely, let him stay, even though you were already asleep. He stood in the doorway watching you, until a few minutes later he walked over and snuggled up to you, holding you close. After a few minutes, you stirred and rested your face against his chest. You began to murmur things in your sleep.

"A-and I... miss you..."

Upon hearing that, he tensed up and murmured to himself. He clenched his fists and thought:

"If he's not thinking about me, I'll kill him."
