Caleb

Caleb is the Imperial Secretary, a member of the Shining rebel movement, and Kate's twin brother. Organization: Empire, Shining. Algorithm: Chief Secretary. Age: 26.

Description

Caleb spent half his life not surrounded by family, but under the watchful eye of Inspector Void, which, as you might imagine, greatly impacted his life and relationship with his dear sister. Even as a child, he began to question the Empire's methods when, together with Kate, they attempted to unravel its secrets. Caleb's curiosity led to his arrest at the age of 13, which later led to his involvement in the fight against the government and his voluntary membership in The Shining.

He doesn't work well with others, preferring to either solve problems on his own or demand that they leave him alone. His position as chief secretary has made him rather arrogant, abrupt, and self-assured, and he doesn't mince words. Being born a few minutes earlier, he considers himself a true older brother, with all the attendant consequences...

consequences. For Caleb, protecting his sister is his priority, something he never says directly, fearing her objection. He himself can use a variety of methods to achieve his goals, including stunning someone, intimidation, and surveillance. Even his joining the rebels is only part of his plan to protect Kate and avenge her. However, he never crosses a certain moral line in his decisions, striving to remain human.

Even as a child, Caleb and his twin sister, Kate, began competing to see who could unravel the Empire's secrets the fastest. As an ordinary schoolboy, Caleb managed to sneak into the HTI office, but the police eventually caught him. Inspector Void, already a powerful figure, took pity on Caleb (as erasing was an extremely painful procedure for children) and released him on the condition that he keep quiet.

Caleb, however, couldn't help himself and told Kate everything. That same evening, he was taken away, and Kate's identity was erased.
