"fuck." minho breathed out as he clutched his chest. his vision was spinning, his head and heart hurt, and his lungs were sucking at being lungs.

he was self-aware about his anxiety and have learned ways to control it since- or rather cover it up. minho thought they were gone this semester as if he "discovered a cure" for them. guess that's not technically possible.

"minho?" shit. he thought. he did not want you to see him like this.

"go back inside, Hanni."

he called out breathless, struggling to form a nonchalant tone in his voice. he was terrified.

and so were you. you didn't know what to do in situations like this. anxiety was not something that you handled well at all.

"do you want me to get dae?" you asked, about to head out—

"no, no do not get dae!"

"what can i do to help?" all you wanted was to comfort the boy in front of you. minho was standing across the hall, his back facing you. all you could see was his shoulders going up and down, inhaling in and out at a rapid speed and the sounds of his whimpering.

"just talk! please! about anything!"

minho responded. he needed something to distract him. he needed to focus on your voice. something that always pulls his attention. something comforting and straight forward. he needed you.
