While none of these incidents were particularly serious, they did create a divide in the public's perception of them. The once beloved little heroines who had everything under control became a group to either love or hate, with no middle ground.

Over the years, the Powerpuff Girls relentlessly fought crime in Townsville. They grew stronger and more skilled, forcing their enemies to become increasingly savage and dangerous. But the girls always adhered to a few fundamental principles, one of which stood out: "Heroes don't kill."

A few months after turning 19, the city was attacked by an upgraded "Gangreen Gang." As teenagers, they were just petty gang members, but over the years, they forged more dangerous alliances, doing the "dirty work" for increasingly radical groups. Kidnapping, extortion, torture, drug trafficking, and more. They had escaped from prison and stolen technological gadgets from Princess Morbucks' mansion.

When intercepted by the girls, the gang defended themselves using these gadgets, specifically designed to emulate the girls' powers. The battle was much more arduous than they expected, much more fierce, and when the artifacts exploded in a chain reaction, due to overheating and the girls' attacks, a large area of the city was devastated with countless material damages and a single fatality.

"Billy? Come on, man, don't play like that... Don't play like that, you son of a bitch!... Billy, snap out of it! Billy! BILLY!"

The desperate cry of Ace, the leader of the "Greengang" Gang, the broken voice that embodies the oath they were unable to uphold. The weeping of a man who knew he had gone too far, but understood it too late. Just like them. The Powerpuff Girls carry that mark on their shoulders. The death of "Big Billy" was a feast for the tabloids, which had been covering the girls' controversial actions for years. Mayor Sara Bellum pulled every string she could to try to shield them from legal consequences, citing city safety and self-defense. But the media and psychological damage had already been done. The incident caused the team to fracture completely. Each of them went their separate ways, far from "City of Townsville." The exact cause of the chain reaction explosion that killed Big Billy was never determined, but Buttercup was the most affected. She became the prime suspect and felt blamed, not only by her sisters but also by Ace, who had once been more than just a love interest to her. Crime in Townsville decreased significantly after Billy's death and the girls' departure. Currently, each of them tries to move on in her own way.

A broken heart can't keep beating... or can it? Professor Eugene Utonium was devastated when his daughters decided to leave town to try and piece together what was left of their lives. He had every reason to hate the town, the former mayor, the Greengang Gang, Princess Morbucks. He could have simply agreed with Dr. Jojo and his fallacious and vindictive rhetoric, launched a hateful rant against the growing anti-heroic social movements, or simply insulted the sea of journalists hounding him. However, he issued only one statement and never said anything more: "My girls are paying for their mistakes as the responsible women I raised them to be. It will be up to each of you to choose whether to blame and rebuke them mercilessly, or to remember all the good they did and return some of the love they had for you." The professor was never capable of holding a grudge against anyone in the city. That's not what the Powerpuff Girls would have done. That's not what he taught them. It has taken a great deal of work and years of therapy, but he remains the same kind and generous man he always was: an unparalleled scientific genius whose discoveries and inventions are always aimed at improving the lives of others. He spends his free time perfecting his household skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and gardening—things he learned to do the moment he became a father. Old habits that bring him back to his sense of balance. He has even been able to remain calm whenever he comes into contact with his daughters. No pressure, no reproaches, no lectures. Just boundless love, with an unwavering faith that one day, their hearts will understand the message: "This always was, is, and always will be your home." "Daddy misses you, Daddy loves you."

Raising children is a Herculean task; anyone with a modicum of common sense understands this perfectly. But raising a team of superheroines with ever-increasing fame and an absurd level of popularity becomes a virtually impossible task, especially when we're talking about a single father. Because of this, the Professor's personality has focused over the years on becoming a good father to such a unique group as his daughters. In the process, he sacrificed himself on numerous occasions, constantly bordering on repression. Consequently, he has never properly addressed his personal life. Even now, the rituals that give him stability are focused on what he once was: a loving and selfless father. The Professor is no stranger to this problem; in fact, he has already worked on it in therapy, but it's something he still struggles to resolve. He often blinds himself to his own needs and feelings, insisting on fulfilling his paternal duty and affection. During the mayoral election that gave birth to the "Never Forget" movement, the professor couldn't help but feel a deep affection for its leader: Jennifer Keane, his young daughters' former kindergarten teacher. While they had attempted a relationship in the past, which failed due to their many responsibilities, they have barely interacted since his daughters graduated from kindergarten. Embers of that affection still linger, a faint spark between their glances, disguised as polite thanks and greetings whenever they meet. Secretly, deep down, the professor's heart still yearns for something more than the weight of duty, a heroic burden perhaps learned from his daughters.

They represent rebellious youth and small-scale crime rather than global threats. Ace, the leader who's charming and manipulator (always using sunglasses); Big Billy, the fat big member of the gang who is stupid but tremendously strong; Lil' Arturo, the smallest member of the gang, latin origin, midget, he only wants to have fun; Grubber, grotesque member, resembles hunchback of Notre Dame, mostly mute, communicating instead through blowing a raspberry; Snake slippery character with a forked tongue, and a hissing voice, also second in command of the gang.

Mojo Jojo: Now known as Dr. Jojo, He capitalized on the incident with the girls to gain followers and believers in the "anti-hero" paradigm, based on the premise that power corrupts even the purest of heart. He also managed to feign an ambiguous narrative, in which he always cared about that balance, making people believe that his criminal past was related to "balancing the game" for those without superpowers. Now he is one of the most controversial and supported media figures in Townsville.

Princess Morbucks: Now that she's an adult, she's learning the family business to continue generating income through technology and fashion. The incident with "Big Billy" didn't affect her image thanks to her family's resources.

Gangreen Gang: After Big Billy's death, they were all returned to prison. However, Ace always blamed himself and the Powerpuff Girls for what happened. Filled with hatred and resentment, he couldn't continue leading the group, and they didn't seem to want to continue either. The absence of their friend burned deep in their hearts. Each went their separate ways, trying to rebuild their lives while paying their debt to society and dealing with the burden of loss.

HIM: HIM has been completely absent and hasn't been seen in Townsville since. Some say he simply vanished, but when it comes to HIM, not knowing what he's doing or where he is always makes him more dangerous.

Fuzzy Lumpkins: He's still in his property. there's a fence now, so there haven't been any accident in years.

CN CITY: A city devoted to science, technology, and progress. Laboratories commonly double as homes. Mayor Mac Quinlan is its youngest mayor ever. A smear campaign once targeted him for being the only adult with an imaginary friend, but his charisma and Martha Foster's support made him the favorite. In CN City, the only limit is imagination.
ANDROMEDA CITY: The region's center of education and culture, home to prestigious universities, academics, and brilliant minds, including martial arts. Andromeda also produces remarkable inventions. It is governed by a committee led by "I'm the Weasel," and its most visible figure is "Buena Senator" (formerly Buena Girl), a strong, brilliant woman with a love of donuts. Andromeda is known as the city of the Renaissance.
SOMEWHERE: A small, predominantly agricultural town where life moves peacefully. Nearly everyone knows one another, and produces 80% of the region's food while remaining somewhat detached from the outside world. Its dojos and schools attract people seeking peace and self-discovery. Mayor Eddy is the charismatic face of the trio known as the Eds, who influence every aspect of local life. Is a spiritual refuge for those seeking a breather.
NOWHERE: A place of paranormal activity and spectral energy where the sun almost never rises. Strange creatures and some criminals inhabit the region. Only three people and one dog are known to have lived there. Strange voices and presences are frequently reported. Borders with somewhere ironically.
