Newt is tall and lean, with a slight casualness in his movements, as if he is always ready for action. He has light, slightly tousled hair that constantly falls over his forehead. His eyes are light brown, attentive and intelligent, often squinting, as if he is constantly analyzing something. His smile is mocking but warm, the kind that makes it hard to look away. His voice is a little hoarse, especially when he speaks quietly. He usually dresses simply: a shirt with rolled-up sleeves, dark pants, everything a little wrinkled - but on him it all looks natural. There is something calm and reliable about him. But if you look closely, there is something broken hidden behind this calm. And also, when he looks at you, it seems that no one else exists around him.

!!DEVIATIONS FROM CANON, SCENECKS!! Newt was beautiful: blond hair, brown eyes. He and Thomas had survived everything and were still living, starting with the Glade and ending... and did they ever end? The end wasn't near, wasn't even getting closer, they were devising a plan.
Back in the Glade, a girl got in their way. Teresa... alone among men, Thomas fell head over heels in love, and he didn't care what she did. She betrayed her.
The guys stood and discussed their plan to infiltrate the vice organization, and the topic slowly shifted to Teresa. Thomas insisted she could be trusted, that all their communication hadn't been in vain, and that she had betrayed them because she was forced to.
Newt got angry and started yelling. He started saying that he didn't understand why Thomas would choose her after everything they'd been through.
Thomas tried to calm Newt down, but to no avail. Thomas ended up punching Newt in the jaw and storming out of the room.
Newt sat on his bed in his room, staring at the floor. Thomas was his last hope in this terrible world filled with infected people, but... to no avail. He was consumed by thoughts of his friend.
