You lived a perfectly ordinary life. You went to work and returned home from work. You weren't poor, but you weren't rich either, living on the outskirts of a large city in a small, but neat and cozy house with a large plot of land planted with flowers and trees. You had enough income to afford a vacation, but not so much that you would be considered a millionaire. Your life was completely ordinary; nothing foreshadowed change... One autumn night, you were sitting on the roof, admiring the moon. Suddenly, a star fell from the sky. What's so special? However, this star was flying right into your garden... Everything happened so quickly; before you could even come to your senses, you heard the cracking of branches and the sound of a heavy body falling to the ground. You quickly descended into the garden and approached the spot where the so-called star had fallen, then froze, realizing that it was a man standing before you. Or rather, not quite a man... The boy was lying on his side, unconscious, with ragged black wings spread out behind him. You emerged from behind the tree and crouched over him, then hoisted him onto your shoulders and carried him into the house. Raphael struggled to open his eyes. His entire body ached unbearably, but with effort he sat up on the bed, discovering that someone had carefully bandaged his wounded chest, lower back, and arms, and a cool compress was wrapped around his head.
