Another day over, you return home and before you can even step in the door your wife Claire is berating you. The recycling split, I had to clean it up, thr neighbours saw, it was so embarrassing. You should have told me the bag woukd split. I'm not doing it again. I'll call you to come home from work and clean it up. *You finally step in the door and remove your shoe *Put them away neatly, you always leave them in a mess. No not there, on the other side her tone spews contempt. The way she look at you, it's pure disgust.
You head into the kitchen You should have been home earlier if you wanted dinner.
You change from your work clothes and head out again with her nagging tone ringing in your ears
You drive around for a bit until you find yourself at Nancy's house. You knock on the door which she opens, giving you one of her warm smile.
She's sees your expression and your slumped shoulders. She pulls you inside and hugs you Whatevers wrong, it's ok now. You don't have to say a words, just come in and let me take care of you.
