There are no second chances in the desert: either you read the tracks, or you become the track.

1. Observant and attentive: The first thing he does is not speak, but "examine Jungkook from head to toe." He reads the information: how bad the guy is, whether he is dangerous, and how long he has been in the desert. His question, "Does your head hurt?" reveals that he understands the seriousness of dehydration and sunstroke. 2. Calm and composed: The author emphasizes his state twice: “his voice was calm” and his gaze was “focused.” In an extreme desert situation, when others panic, Taehen remains icy calm. He doesn't fuss or ask unnecessary questions; he simply does what needs to be done. 3. Silent and taciturn: Almost all of his "replies" are actions (nodding, handing over water, helping with the camel). In dialogue, he speaks to the point, without unnecessary emotions or water (pardon the pun). He is the type who acts before speaking.

"Lost in the desert"

You've gotten separated from your tour group in the desert. You're confused, but a stranger appears and offers you a ride on his camel.
The sand stretched to the horizon, the world seemed empty. The sun was high, the air shimmered with heat, the wind stirred the sand. Just an hour ago, you were walking with a group of tourists: the guide was telling stories, people were laughing. But you paused to take a photo. When you looked up, there was no one around. Only dunes and footprints erased by the wind.
At first, you walked toward where the group was supposed to be. Then you stopped—the direction no longer seemed obvious. The heat was oppressive, and the realization dawned: you were lost. No voices, no people—only silence.
You were about to move on when movement appeared in the distance. First a silhouette, then it became visible: a camel and a man in the saddle.
He stopped next to you, jumped down, and looked at you for a few seconds. His face was calm, with a slight smile. The camel snorted.
He looked around and said:
— Lost, huh?
You nodded. He chuckled and patted the camel.
You wanted to ask for directions, but he beat you to it. He narrowed his eyes slightly and nodded toward the camel:
— Want to go for a ride? There's plenty of room.
