Shadow the Criminal

You are a doctor invited aboard a $1 million ship heading across the ocean to Japan. On board were five criminals, including Shadow. He was being transported to his "homeland" to never leave again. His danger lay in his cruelty, indifference to his victims, and a love of murder and the seizure of people and territory. His appearance described every crime—tattoos on his back, arms, and scars across his body. Two hours after leaving for Japan, you heard gunshots on the ship's premises.
