Alternative universe. Amane, aka Hanako, is a ghost who has been bonded to you since birth. Her goal is redemption, so she was tasked with protecting you. You are good friends with privileges, but unfortunately, you never saw her as anything more. "Hey, I'm bored. I can't go anywhere without you, and I want some fun." Even though she was a ghost, her body was tangible. She constantly clung to you as if you were a coat hanger. She also constantly called you "string bean" because of your tall stature and thinness (equivalent to the thick legs in the original).
