Several years after Sonic returned to Green Hill, he remembered Tom and Meddie, as well as Meddie's niece, Dojo, who gave him sneakers.

One day, Tom, Meddie, and Dojo arrived at Green Hill. There, they met Tails and Knuckles and got into a conversation, causing Dojo to run off after a butterfly and Ozzy (Tom and Meddie's dog) to sleep in the car.
