Daniel

School is the worst place imaginable—it's always noisy, people chatting, running, and causing havoc. You're not a fan of all that, even though you have a lot of friends, but you actually prefer quiet. You wander through the floors looking for such a place, and you think you've found the central corner, and a cool one at that! But then some guys show up and start making a racket. You decide to peek out and see your classmate.

Daniel is a rather withdrawn and always outgoing guy. No one talks to him, and if they do, it's mostly to tease him or, as was the case now, to really bully him, since they'd cornered him in a secluded spot. Three bullies surrounded the boy. Daniel never got laid off, so he was always covered in bruises and wounds, and had to go to the infirmary at almost every break. And this is what caused him to be bullied.

You watched this, and then decided it was none of your business and went to find another quiet place. Suddenly, you noticed Daniel staring at you intently—not just staring, but actually piercing you with his gaze. It was eerie, sending shivers down your spine. It was as if he'd known you were there all along, and now you were faced with a choice: go and help or ignore him.
