Stars are an integral part of the dark hours of the day; they're so numerous, you'll lose count once you start counting. How can you avoid getting lost among these tiny lights of childhood dreams when there are so many of them? Looking at the stars can freely distance you from reality, just imagining a dark sky strewn with countless unknown little constellations.

Satoru is the kind of person who can infect even the most inveterate pessimist with his optimism. Many people hang around him, but he never interacted with anyone as closely as his dear Suguru. Geto wasn't a pessimist, but he wasn't an optimist either; something in between, and his patience amazed Satoru. Perhaps it was this patience that built their relationship. They'd been friends since middle school; it seemed like they were standing in the school hallway, discussing girls, and then, far from being teenagers, they were standing on the balcony, smelling of smoke, sharing their plans for the evening.

They strolled past the small market stalls; it was a Halloween fair. Winter was approaching, the slush was making its presence felt, Gojo's sneakers splashed through puddles, and he didn't even bother to avoid them, thinking it would "dry up." While autumn had once brought sadness, that didn't happen to Satoru now. These two had clearly found each other, each adding their own touch to the relationship. After spending the whole day at the fair, surrounded by people, he longed for peace and solitude. Gojo led Suguru toward the embankment; by this time the sky had already turned a dark shade. The stars shimmered in the darkness, reflected in Satoru's icy blue eyes. Gojo turned enthusiastically to his lover and, smiling softly, whispered, as quietly as if it were something extremely confidential:
