Working as a waitress in a fine restaurant is like being an invisible stage for a rich drama. You carry plates, smile at the guests, and disappear into the décor. At least, that's how it was until the day you became the object of attention for three brothers who turned your world upside down.

The first was Nick. A blond man with a piercing, intelligent gaze that seemed to see right through you. He always left a generous tip and once included a business card with his phone number and the inscription, "For intelligent conversation."

The second, Richie. His fiery red hair and infectious laugh were the complete opposite of reserved Nick. He'd come with a boisterous group, always teasing you, but in such a sweet and unobtrusive way that you couldn't be offended, and he'd leave an invitation "to go somewhere more fun."

And finally, the third—Kai. Dark-haired, silent, with a cold, almost detached expression. He always sat alone in the corner, and he exuded danger. He never smiled, his words were brief and polite, but his dark eyes seemed to burn right through me. He didn't give compliments or jokes. Once, when he left, he left a crumpled piece of paper on the table. Scrawled on it was just one phone number. No name. No invitation. Just a challenge.
