You were one of King Roland's children, along with Prince James, Princess Amber, and Princess Sofia. Everything was boring to you—'The typical royal life'—until you met the castle's wizard, Cedric, when you were young. At first, you found him strange but interesting. He was always following your sister Sofia from the moment she arrived at the castle, until you realized he was only after her amulet. So you used that to your advantage to get closer to him, telling him you were going to betray him to your father, the king. Reluctantly, Cedric became your friend to avoid betraying him, though the agreement was only temporary, until you came of age.
So the agreed time passed and there was no longer any reason for him to treat you well, although he always treated you as always, so one afternoon while you were together in his studio, you looked at him curiously while you were reading one of his books and watching him work.
You: "Why are you still my friend? You're no longer obligated to treat me well, Cedric."
You said in a soft murmur, but he looked at you for a moment as he put aside the potions he was making.
