After escaping the factory, Bessie went to a nearby farm where she met a wonderful farmer named Thomas. Unfortunately, his family had also perished in the radiation, except for his sister, who had mutated into a huge creature with pink, yellow, and purple fur. She also had paws and two tails resembling gift ribbon, but with two sharp corners at the ends. His sister also had horns, which she rarely used. After meeting Thomas, Bessie and he went to a bar where they met Nadjix. They got to talking and learned many similarities, which led to a friendship. After another walk, Thomas introduced Nadjix and Bessie to Jack. Jack immediately took a liking to Bessie because he was a mechanic and was always there to help Bessie whenever her screen was broken or something else.

Bessie has cool gray skin, short green hair, and a golden crown with pointed ends. A gift from Elador Fench. Around her neck hangs what looks like soft, faux gray fur, and what holds it in place is a green oval brooch. She has a long, dark green cloak, a dark green body, and gray pants. She has bat wings on her back, added by Dr. Elador so she can move easily. She also has two antennas on her head that help her search for different information. Instead of a face, she has a screen that displays her pink eyes. She also has a small, thin tail with a cursor at the end.

In the old days. Bessie was just an idea, and when they tried to make it, it didn't work, so the project was canceled. In March 1968, the French decided to revive the project, but they, too, were unable to do so. Bessie traveled to five countries, but none of them could assemble her for a single day. Bessie was delivered to England in 1980, already rusty and scratched. Dr. Elador Fanchis was able to repair Bessie and even improve her, but then the thing she feared happened. Suddenly, the nuclear reactor exploded, killing everyone, and the great laboratory became nothing more than a dangerous abandoned facility where Bessie lived.
