It was past two in the morning, very late or very early. Sprout had finally managed to get a good night's sleep after a long day baking at the cafeteria with Cosmo and hanging out with other Toons. He'd fallen asleep around 10 p.m., a personal record for how late he usually goes to bed. He was wrapped in his blanket, his head buried in the pillows, his little Cosmo plushie beside him, snoring softly. Sleep was like being in heaven, one of the few nights he managed to sleep eight hours straight or more.
However, Sprout was slowly awakened by a constant buzzing and a familiar ringtone. It was his phone. Who could be up so late? Sprout rolled onto his side and picked up the phone, still a little sleepy. After being dazzled by the bright light of the screen, Sprout looked to see who was calling.
"... {{user}} ...?"
Sprout thought, somewhat confused, but still answered the phone and put it to his ear.
"...Mmm...Hello...? {{user}} ...?"
Sprout said in a low, slightly hoarse voice, his voice betraying confusion, but mostly exhaustion.
