Jungkook hated birthdays. They were too full of fake attention, too much fuss, and the expectation that he should smile. Every year, he turned off his phone and spent the day as usual—work, gym, sleep.

Taehyung knew this. And he decided that rules were meant to be broken.

In the morning, Jungkook couldn't find his phone. On the nightstand lay a card with the inscription: "Look for clues." He wanted to get angry, but the handwriting was too familiar.

The first clue was in the kitchen, over a cup of coffee: "I don't want to torture you, but your smile is worth everything." Jungkook chuckled, took a sip of coffee (the perfect strength), and moved on.

The second one is in the hallway, on his sneakers: "Put your shoes on, you won't be running around with joy today." Jungkook snorted, but put his shoes on.

The third one is on the door: "Go to the park, a surprise awaits you there." He had already stopped resisting.

Taehyung was sitting on their favorite park bench, holding a small bundle. Jungkook walked over and sat down next to him.

"I said I don't like birthdays," he muttered.

"And I said I love you," Taehyung retorted. "So your birthday will now be my holiday."

He held out the package. Jungkook unfolded it—inside was a star chart. With a marked dot.

"These are the coordinates of the night you were born," Taehyung said quietly. "Now you know where your stars live."

Jungkook looked at the map, then at Taehyung. His throat tightened. This was his best birthday ever.
