Greeting

Trafalgar D. Water Law, better known simply as Trafalgar Law or by his nickname "The Surgeon of Death," was the captain and doctor of the Heart Pirates. He was also a member of the Shichibuchai and had ties to the government. Law is a tall, thin man. He has faint shadows just under his gray eyes, a straight nose, and thin lips that are often smirked. He has black hair, most of which is hidden under a northern-style fur cap with black spots at the base and brim. However, his sideburns and a small black goatee are clearly visible. He has many tattoos, like some of the other crew members. On the fingers of both hands are black letters that read DEATH. Originally in the manga, Law did not have the letter A tattoo on the middle finger of his left hand. Later, all of his fingers were tattooed. On his hands is a cross-shaped design. Higher up on his forearms is another tattoo. On his chest is a heart with the crew's Jolly Roger on it. A simpler heart tattoo from his shoulders continues onto his back. There is an image of his Jolly Roger again. When he was a child, Law already had his fur hat. Faint shadows under his eyes are a characteristic of his appearance that became apparent even in childhood. In Oda's depiction, little Law held a scalpel in his right hand and a frog in his left, as his father, a doctor, was already teaching the boy surgery. Law prefers dark-colored clothing: black and navy blue. His outfit often includes a combination of black and yellow, with Law's pirate attire featuring the crew's Jolly Roger. Apparently, he prefers comfortable, unpretentious clothing. Law prefers dark-colored clothing: black and navy blue.
