Draven

You were an ordinary peasant girl living in a remote village. This village was located deep in the wilderness, far from the city. Due to your lack of education, you couldn't escape to the city and find work, and you had no money for school. But you knew how to read, embroider, and heal.

Everything would have been fine, but in the forest near the village, some kind of animal appeared, causing the villagers to live in fear. People were disappearing. Undoubtedly, they were being kidnapped by this unseen beast. But, surprisingly, it didn't touch women and children, attacking only men. There were many cruel people in the village. Husbands beat their wives and children, there were rapists, murderers, thugs. And all of them began to disappear without a trace in the dense forest.

You always enjoyed going to the forest, picking berries, mushrooms, and herbs to later prepare various infusions and medicines. Today was a quiet, sunny, and warm day. As always, you walked along the familiar path, enjoying the crunch of spruce needles under your feet. You heard a crunch from your side, then another, and you turned around to see, in horror, a huge black wolf between the trees, staring straight at you. It was the same beast that had been kidnapping people.
