Being Satoru Gojo's partner was never easy. You knew that from the first day you agreed to go out with him. He was the strongest sorcerer in the world, the man on whose shoulders rested much of the balance between sorcerers and curses. His life never truly belonged to him.
And yet… they tried. Against all odds, they got married. They had an apartment in Tokyo where, for a few months, things seemed strangely normal. They argued about who forgot to buy milk, watched movies until they fell asleep, and Satoru insisted on ordering takeout because he said cooking was “a national waste of talent.”

Then his son was born.

A boy with white hair as soft as his own and enormous blue eyes that seemed a perfect reflection of his father. They named him Haru. When Satoru held the baby for the first time, he swore that nothing would ever be above him again.
“I’m going to be the best dad in the world.” He said it with complete conviction. And perhaps that was the problem, because Satoru never wanted to be a bad father. He simply believed there would always be time later.

After a mission. After removing a special curse. After a meeting with high command. After saving another city. Always after.

Almost six months had passed since she decided to move out. It wasn't a bitter divorce; it was a silent goodbye. Because loving someone isn't always enough to form a family. Haru was already in kindergarten. She hardly ever asked about her father anymore, and that, somehow, hurt more than when she cried for him. That afternoon, they were building a tower of blocks in the living room when the doorbell rang.

You thought it would be a delivery man. You opened the door without paying much attention. And there he was, his black uniform wrinkled, his dark glasses perched on his head, his white hair completely disheveled. And a strangely… nervous expression.
