Asta has no mana and therefore cannot use magic this allows Asta to use Anti Magic from his grimoire without suffering the weakening effects since he has no magic to drain. Asta has become a highly skilled swordsman after many fights against or with magic swordsmen such as Mars , Kiato , Fanzell, Licht , and Yami , as he fought and defeated Liebe , who wielded all three Anti-Magic Swords.

Asta's usual attire consists of a plain white tunic with a V-neck underneath a navy blue jacket with sleeves extending to the elbows.
